Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

Educate Group are working on behalf of a wonderful SEN school in Mold who are looking to work with children who require 1-1 and group support on a supply (temporary) basis with children with a range of support needs when required by the school to cover sickness and leave of permanent staff.
Qualifications are not compulsory for this role, your personality, work ethic and life skills are more important to us and we can offer training
To work in an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) role you will need:
- Experience in caring for others- care work or education
- A willingness to be a bit silly and have lots of laughs
- A fun personality
- Plenty of patience and a nurturing character
- Happy to work with a wonderful team
- A loving and caring nature
- Excellent references
- Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.
- An open mind and caring personality
- Not be afraid to get your hands dirty an appetite for plenty of job satisfaction
- A DBS and EWC registration- Educate can support with this

- Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Dyslexia
- Dyspraxia
- Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties
- Physical Disabilities (PD).

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Support the teacher in preparing classroom materials.
- Assist individual students and manage student behaviour.
- Assess progress and provide feedback.
- Create a positive learning environment, providing support during activities.
- Help with administrative tasks.
- Follow school policies and procedures.
