Educate Group is recruiting Cover Supervisors in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas to support secondary schools with their day-to-day staffing needs.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment when teachers are unavailable. You’ll deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged throughout the lesson.

This role could be ideal for you if you:

• Have experience working with young people
• Are confident managing a classroom
• Can build positive relationships with secondary-aged pupils
• Are organised, reliable and adaptable
• Can confidently follow lesson plans and school procedures
• Have a calm and consistent approach to behaviour management

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, youth worker, tutor or within another child-focused role is beneficial, but we’re also interested in candidates with strong transferable skills.
