This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety in their work, want to gain experience across a range of school settings, or are seeking a flexible work-life balance. You’ll have the opportunity to work in supportive schools, develop your skills, and make a positive impact on pupils’ learning.

Duties:·

Supporting the classroom teacher deliver engaging lessons·

Support the teacher in preparing classroom materials·

Work one to one with small groups·

Supporting children with additional learning needs·

Follow school procedures and policies·

Create and maintain a positive learning environment·

Provide feedback on pupil progress

Requirements of a teaching assistant:·

Flexibility and adaptability·

Minimum 3 days a week·

Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)·

A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) – desirable but not essential·

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)·

Strong communication and interpersonal skills·

The ability to manage behaviour effectively
