Are you a sports coach looking for flexible work in a secondary school?

Educate are looking for enthusiastic sports coaches and individuals with coaching experience to work as Cover Supervisors in schools. This is a flexible supply role, ideal for coaches who want work that fits around training sessions, matches, or other commitments.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to supervise pre-set lessons when teachers are absent, ensuring students stay on task and maintain a positive learning environment. Your coaching skills—such as leadership, communication, discipline and motivating young people—translate perfectly into the classroom.

Duties:

– Engage and support students, helping them succeed academically and socially.

– Establish positive relationships with both students and staff.

– Provide consistent support at the same school, eliminating the uncertainty of different assignments.

– Potential for a full-time contract with the school in the future.

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (if you don’t have one, we can help you apply for a new one through Educate).
